I initially chose Bluevine because they offered the most competitive interest rate on business checking accounts, at 1% or so. That lasted for about 12 months for me, when Bluevine made the decision to hitch their wagon to a different bank and forcing all customers to new accounts. I was expecting everything to change after that and it sure did - since then, interest income is essentially eliminated unless you have a certain income and/or spend a certain amount on your debit card, essentially creating income for Bluevine so ... read more

I had been a BlueVine customer for over a year, using them to receive rental property income (and pay vendors). I went to deposit a check yesterday and it kept getting returned. Out of nowhere, they randomly shut down my account without any warning or explanation as to why they shut down my account. I called them and spoke to a representative who put me on hold and just came back and told me "I cannot provide any additional information at this time. Never had such a bad online business experience.During the registration process, their online system was unable to "read" my driver's license. After trying numerous ways, both manually and through their automated option, I spoke to customer service to find out about alternate ways to submit my **. The gentleman tells me that other than scanning my ** through their system there is no option possible, and without that ** there is no way to open the account. This company has fraudulent practices. Everything seemed fine when I first opened the business checking account including verification. I was able to transfer money into the BlueVine account from my other business account with no problems because I had already been verified during the process of opening the account. However, when I went to transfer the same funds back into my main business account they put a hold on the account and canceled the transfer. Hmm something fishy here? On their end yes! Closed my account and wont give my my balance . They keep telling me the check was mailed to me but its been over two months and its just lie after lie

The worst bank experience I've ever had . Zero accountability, zero customer service, avoid at all costs.

Stay CLEAR of this company. I submitted an application online and for 2 weeks I never heard anything back. Finally I called the 800 number and spoke with a nice lady by the name of **** S who assured me that they received my SBA for new account and they would be contacting me soon to verify I was approved for my new business account. Low and behold I still haven't heard anything else from this company. I believe they are fraudulent and it's pretty scary that the BBB is backing this company. I am seriously thinking about moving banks after a year with blue one I should have read more reviews. A few weeks back Around midnight I went to check my account and noticed right that minute a transaction of ATM withdrawal at a bank close by for $500 and $482 . I immediately locked the debit card but no one was available cause it was a Saturday. I was using BlueVine for my startup and had a decent experience at first. Then they closed my account with out any forewarning. Lastly they still have not returned to me the funds that I had in the account. They basically stole my money without any warning. To add salt to the wound, they referenced me to Bankcorp to ask for my money, even though I don't have any access to my old account information. They swindled me!
