☆☆☆☆☆ 5 Star Service. My Fridge went out. I of course noticed it at bedtime. Wasn't sleeping as was concerned about losing $300 worth of food. Called Marty at Blue Ribbon. It was the Circuit Breaker that appeared to not be flipped but it had been. The problem was at the Circuit Box. He educated me on the Circuit Box, making sure we had a non-GFI plug in and what to look for in the future. You see Home Warranty Commercials on TV - ignore them. Call Blue Ribbon Home Warranty.
They have maximums they pay per appliance. They also have a list of sub-contractors. The sub contractors price gouge where your out of pocket is way more than you can hire out on your own. ALPS is a horrible sub. If you don’t mind giving your money away, at least go with a nicer and more honest group.
If anything in your home could be considered 'older' don't bother with this garbage warranty. They used every trick in the book to pay the lowest amount possible last year for my stove, refrigerator, and now they are refusing to cover any part of the swamp cooler that was recommended be replaced by the technicians because the word rust was used. Don't waste your time or money.
I recently had an opportunity to experience the blue ribbon home warranty. My grandson just purchased a home and was not able to be present when the techs arrived so I was the contact. I must say I was totally impressed with both vendors they sent to his home. They were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I have been in the property management business in this city for almost 40 years and have to say that these two vendors exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Blue Ribbon Home Warranty.
I would seriously question using this company. I am a realtor and this company has been nothing but a pain to one of my clients. One of their customers service reps told my client, "read the contract, we can pay whatever we want to pay".
I have had Blue Ribbon for over 10 years. Most of the time I receive excellent warranty service. The customer service has always been sub par. They always send qualified subcontractors to do work when needed and quickly. The cost of the warranty is worth it- the customer service could be improved. I think their service is spot on. I filed 2 claims, they answered right away, sent out competent service providers. My problems were fixed...very pleased, thank you
