I am in New York for a special occasion, went to Bloomingdale's , interested in some Clarins products as a treat, was about to get a product demo from one of the very lovely sales ladies, when another women, I suppose the supervisor, asked where I was from what I currently used, almost threw a sample of a product that I wasn't interested in at me and basically directed me to leave, for such a famous store, the customer service was appalling, won't be returning
Don't shop there. In December I bought sheets. In January I sent them a check. They lost that check. Now a credit agency is after me. Ridiculous! I have a perfect credit score--or did. I'm sorry I ever walked in there.
Tried to buy an item that was $125 but with 20% off, they didn't have the required size for me. I saw a slightly different one at $145 with the 20% off would've taken it down to $116. I asked if i could use my 10% tourist discount and got told NO. I went and asked the customer service agent who said the same thing. If that's the case, the tourist only gets the same as a local. No incentive to buy anything after that so left empty handed. I'll probably buy the same thing back in the UK. I've always bought from here on previou... read more
