About this business

Housed in an 18th century granary, this elegant, old brick restaurant Bistro Romano has been a Philadelphia dining mainstay since 1988. Located in the historic Society Hill district, it is a favorite of the local media and ranks amongst the area's top restaurants. The Smoked Chicken Ravioli and the Veal Rosini are two of the menu's more popular entrees. On weekends, diners can enjoy cocktails in its piano bar, or for a change of pace, take part in its acclaimed Mystery Theater.

Has been a favorite for years.. you can bring family or just a romantic party of 2. New chef and managers doing a great job .. tangy Caesar Salad to die for cozy and cool wine cellar vibe.

Visited bistro Romano tonight for the first time for my wife’s birthday. I am a culinarian who usually can find something to “complain” about but I enjoyed every part of my meal from the octopus salad appetizer to the home made pasta special that i had for my entree .. They even finished off our meal with a complimentary glass of blue berry basil cello which was amazing! Will deff be back !
