Housed in an 18th century granary, this elegant, old brick restaurant Bistro Romano has been a Philadelphia dining mainstay since 1988. Located in the historic Society Hill district, it is a favorite of the local media and ranks amongst the area's top restaurants. The Smoked Chicken Ravioli and the Veal Rosini are two of the menu's more popular entrees. On weekends, diners can enjoy cocktails in its piano bar, or for a change of pace, take part in its acclaimed Mystery Theater.

Excellent food. Excellent staff. Great decor.
Had an amazing and romantic birthday date experience in the private room. Food was delicious.
Had my birthday dinner here. We were late for our reservation, but the hostess was really nice about it and they were still able to seat us right away. I went in knowing I wanted the lobster ravioli and I wasn't disappointed. My boyfriend had the Bolognese and said his was delicious as well. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate olive oil cake. I'm making it my life's mission to learn how to make this cake. It was awesome. They served it on a plate with "happy birthday" written in chocolate sauce, a surprise the server and my... read more

Tuesday-night lobster specials make the trip to the Society Hill area more than worthwhile.
We went to the murder mystery dinner. Was not sure what to expect.... food was really good, cast of the show kept in caricature the whole night. Was really fun. Had drinks downstairs after, great wine selection and a fantastic bar background. Had a gentleman playing piano. Bartenders were fantastic. Def going back again. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Fabulous food with amazing seasoning and texture. Great service and attention to detail.
We had so much fun! My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and birthdays. Our children took us to the murder mystery theatre. It was very entertaining, all of the actors stayed in character while serving our meals, and I even got to participate - I’d definitely do it again.p
The 9 of us had a phenomenal time at Bistro Romano! The manager, Anthony made awesome recommendations and we couldn't have been happier with the food and service! Would highly recommend!
