I am upset with the neurology department. My boyfriend last visit was in May and they told the hospital he hasn't been seen since January. They also said he went for a study this past May and it was last year. So two things they got wrong. He has memory issues and cannot drive because of the seizures. We kept telling them to contact me for appointments and they never have so now they have discharged him. Er never ever just came here today because I was send here from my nurse clinic otherwise other hospital would've better.Nurse poke it me way to many times leaving lumps on my hands and arm.Did huge surgery a month ago upstairs was well treated but here today very well disappointed.
Just want to post people to be aware of the safety concerns at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital I have reached out to him several times and have not received a response I reached out to patien services and they have not respond I also restart to the director of nursing Sandra Sanchez is he has not responded I have sent out for emails since Saturday mornings and student at 1 o'clock in the morning please someone responds to me
BIDMC reputation is highly over stated. It is true Boston has some of the best hospitals in the world but if you need medical care I definitely recommend you go to Brigham and Woman's or Boston Medical. Arrived at BIDMC-Plymouth at 8am Thursday. At 8pm Friday surgeon tells us the Boston surgical team reviewed test results and accepted him for transfer. The waiting is terrible they are 1/2 hour late and still waiting
My wife just gave birth to our baby girl Sunday. The staff was excellent, and with food delivery right to the room, and some solid options, I found Beth Israel to be the perfect place to start workin on my Dad bod. 5 stars.
Horrible treatment by staff AFTER surgery. My surgeon was professional though and done a good job, afterwards was the problem. No communication between staff and patients. They decide everything for you and don't even bother asking the most basic of discharge planning questions. Rude nurses who ignore when you call (or show up an hr after you push the button) and they rush you out when you're feeling your worse, despite what they say.
