The Bermans are best in class landlords that I would recommend to anyone. I rented from Marc for two years before moving closer to a new job. Their rental process was the most hassle-free leasing experience I've had to date; the application was straightforward & didn't require an excessive amount of paperwork or money down to be approved. Very responsive realtors and landlords who take pride in their properties. Whether it's the weekend or afterwork on a weeknight, they're quick to send someone over or at the very least, give you an update for when you can expect it to be fixed. They're the best landlords I've ever had to deal with in NYC. I'd rent from them again for sure.
We have lived in a Berman building for almost four years and they have been wonderful. The property is in great shape. Any issues have been minor and were resolved quickly. For example, our fridge had a glitch and they brought over a new fridge the same day we called about it! Super responsive, friendly, and professional.

We were lucky enough to find Berman Realty when looking for a February 1 move-in earlier this year. From walking us through the lease and policies in-person to replacing the dishwasher just a few days after we moved in (!!), they truly made the process as simple and as straightforward as possible. We have had the pleasure of living in a Berman property in beautiful Parkslope for a few years now and every year it is a no-brainer when it comes to renewing our lease! They will go above and beyond for their tenants and their personal approach and genuine care is truly appreciated! Thanks to the Bermans when looking for a place in Park Slope. Service was personable, helpful and accessible, and made renting a pain-free process (which I have heard is often a nightmare in New York!) Fully recommend the Bermans!
After a popular but shady area broker claimed our apt fell through, my roommate and I stumbled upon Berman's light-filled, NO-FEE, family-owned & operated apt(s) in the best part of Park Slope and knew we struck gold. All of our concerns and any handyman issues were always immediately handled. We were there happily for 2 years before each relocating to the West Coast. With all of the shady NYC landlords and brokers, I cannot recommend Berman enough.
