It's Worth the Drive from the Suburbs! – I started going to the Phoenix salon about a year ago, simply because it was right around the corner from my office and several of my co-workers went there. In the last year I have gone from just popping in occasionally to get my eyebrows waxed, to now having standing appoingments for not just my brows but my hair color and cut/style as well. philadelphia's best hair salon – Bruce Dubois has to be the best colorist on the East Coast[ I've never lived on the West] Ashley, his assistant, has no betters when it comes to using a styling brush and blow dryer. I am always made to feel special and that has not been my experience in other salons. From the valet personnel to the checkout staff, all are pleasant and respectful. This gem of a place is wonderfully located to all major highways as well.
The Best Service – So, I have been to a lot of hair salons both in and out of Philadelphia. I was referred by a friend to Phoenix. I tried it out the first time and it was awesome. I made my appointment with someone who didn't offer my service and was immediately transferred to someone else even if I didn't have an appointment. I got a relaxer and cut with Jillian and she was awesome. She gave me tips on how to take care of my hair as well and wasn't pushy to buy their salon products. Philadelphia's best spa! – I have tried at least 10 other other spas in the city for one reason or another. Mostly for their waxing services and a good massage. The Phoenix Salon & Spa hands down has the best staff and most welcoming atmosphere. Unlike most spas, most of time, you can show up as a walk-in and not have to wait an unreasonable amount of time for your service. I highly recommend trying this place out for your next spa appointment.
Convenient, courteous, caring – The Phoenix Salon and Spa is a relaxing and renewing place. There is a calm atmosphere which is sometimes lacking in hair salons. The peace is very attractive to someone wanting to enjoy the experience of getting hair done! The best colorist in town – I always consider the Phoenix the rolls royce for my hair! I have a full head of highlights and it always looks best when I go the the Phoenix. I had my hair colored before my wedding last month by another salon, my normal colorist was on maternity leave. It was so bad and I was so upset. I should have gone to Sherrie at the Phoenix and it would have been perfect as always. I am now never going elsewhere to try and save a dime, its worth every penny and more!
Fabulous salon experience – I have had great experiences at the Phoenix Salon. I had the Japanese hair straightening - amazing; also cut and color. Each time has been a professional, relaxing experience. I have returned several times. This is the first salon I have returned to, after trying many others. Highly recommend. They also sell a great line of hair products that are hard to purchase in stores.
Great Place! – I have followed Sherry from South Philly to this upscale place in Center City. We always have the best time picking colors for highlighting and lowlighting. She really takes time with me and exercises her patience when I suggest something too far out. The staff at this place is always so friendly and the atmosphere very relaxing. I highly recommend trying it and expecially usiing Sherry for cut's and color. She also did some awesome updos for a few wedding I was attending!
