I wouldn’t recommend uhaul to any one cost be 300 dollars to move my stuff 20 miles because you couldn’t get anything right. The location was wrong in town move was wrong I called multiple times every one said something different and said it would be changed and it didn’t get changed just worst Never use uhaul

I would give extra negative stars for this business as I've seen in other reviews they are keen on ripping people off and overcharging. And as I have been dealing with this over a month I am exhausted and still have yet to get any resolve from uhal. As even their upper management (directors) NEVER CALL BACK. Can't give less stars for likely fraud and uncooperative response to disputed charges. September 26, 2018: Driver/mover from Newark, NJ, rented a U-Haul of Newark truck to help my family member move. I paid for the rental with my credit card as the driver's card didn't go through when he was checking out with the reserved truck. If I could give a negative 2 I would. First I picked up my truck & there were 3 employees in the front checking people out (f.y.i it was 8 a.m.). 2 employees were just walking around, straight chillin, looking at the line get backed up, but would make eye contact with any of the customers. Terrible customer service. No idea how they have an A+ rating on BbB. Stored furniture in a unit for 5 months and when I came back to it, it was all ruined. Rat infestation had defecated all over my stuff. Uhual says they have zero liability for vermin. What is the point of storing somethig if it is not safe. I'm now out 1500 bucks worth of rental payments for last 5 months, cost of my ruined furniture and have to pay to dump my ruined furniture. All they did was hand me a pair of gloves. Disgusting. I rented a truck from them and left my personal vehicle on their lot. There was not a "no parking" sign where I parked (next to another vehicle). They towed my vehicle and cost me $200 to get it from the towing company.

This customer service at this establishment was more than unacceptable. The younge lady, Kayla was very rude and not just with customers the other employees as well. One of the employees, Chris was not comfortable with her attitude and to top things off we made a reservation and did not get what we requested

I am very disappointed with the misleading advertising. This company charges what they want after they have your CC information. Shop around and use another truck rental and avoid this company, that operates out of Furniture Stores and so on , to pick up rental vehicles. Good luck disputing over-charges. I hope they get charged for ripping off people.

Absolutely horrible experience at the Good Hope Location in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Rented a truck (like I do about 3 or more times a week) and the truck smelled like a dump - absolutely disgusting. We only needed it for a day to move some furniture, so it wasn't an issue for us. Everything went fine until we returned the truck and were told we used the dolly and blankets.
