I used to be a loyal customer and now *I am not. I never rented anything. My husband reserved the uhual not me. My husband drove the uhaul not me. My husband returned the pick up truck -not me. But I was charged double and there is no resolution. I tried to ask for a reversal but was sent to the legal department. They doubled down again. So I am left $100 less and not able to pay for my multiple sclerosis medication. I only spoke to an attourney so I could find out my rights. It is U-Haul's policy to give priority to reservations for one-way trips over in-town moves. I reserved a 26' foot truck 3 weeks prior to the date I needed it for an in-town. U-Haul called me several days prior to tell me that they rented the truck to someone for a one-way trip out of state. U-Haul is great at taking reservations, just not keeping them. Worst customer experience ever. I went to return stuff I bought and didn't use and the cashier "accidentally" gave me store credit instead of a refund, and guess what? As soon as that's done, there is no way to reverse that! None! If there is a something I hate in this life is to be forces to buy stuff I don't need. Hate it. They will NEVER see a dime of my money ever. Enjoy my hard-earned money U-Haul.

I reserved a covered trailer and had to go out of my way to pick up the one with the doors that open in back vs the roll up door. I went to the Waterford Twp, MI location on Elizabeth Lake Road and the trailer was gone. The man trying to hook up a roll up style acted like I did not know what I was talking about when I told him about the door issue. Said there are no trailers with doors that open outwards. Wow, I can't believe U-Haul is not taking action to correct their deteriorating corporate image with customers. I have used U-Haul truck rentals for over 20 years and never received such bad service as with this latest truck rental from Location: 9890 Central Ave NE, Blaine, 55434, MN. I reserved a 26 foot truck for Oct 27 and moved from a senior center (disabled spouse and diabetic) to a different senior center. I rented a 10 × 10 indoor storage unit at the Indian school rd Phoenix facility from 8/8 to 10/8. On my move out date, I was alerted during inspection that one of my jars was on the roof. That's when we noticed the wired roof had seemingly been cut or rolled up. We made a reservation the night before after calling places that didn’t have one available and finally found one at this location. I have been having issues on and off for the last two years with communicating with the mendenhall tn u haul and also with the website. i have my storage for almost 4 years and i paid for the first year in advance. I have ran in to money issue and can no longer do this but i can never get a call back from the manager since 2017 when i first start having issues. Their online system allowed me to make a reservation with a drop off location that was different from the pick up location. I got a call from my specified drop off location notifying me that I needed to drop the truck off at the same location I picked it up at, that I could come get the truck or just leave it there and face the $160 wrong drop off location fee.
