We reserved a 20' van for our move. We were told we could pick it up at a location near our home at 10:30 am on 12-1-18. We were only moving a 1/2 mile from where we were living. On 11-30-18 @ 7:00 PM we received a text from U-Haul saying our truck would be ready for pick-up at 11:30 AM on 12-1-18 at a different location. If I could give then less then one star I would. I contracted a mover and a Haul truck for a recent move. The mover I contract through UHAUL never showed up , called or emailed me. I was to make settle on my new and old home on the same day and UHAUL left me holding the bag. When I called to complain that told me "Hire a new Mover" Can someone tell me where I can find a mover the same day. Are they out of there minds? Like there a mover waiting for me to call. we were given a quote on adding the part to be able to tow a tent trailer we gave all the sizes an detentions and we were reassured it would pull it no problem and who would question the professionals? We trusted -hauls word to pay 350 some dollars to be told after leaving that we would never be able to carry such a heavy thing. Its not t only dangerous but would ruin the car. Uhaul made a simple move a complete nightmare. They closed earlier than the posted hours, gave me bad information for booking my rental, overcharged me and the truck broke down.

This company knows that they are pretty much it for truck rentals and they RIP people off everyday, how in the world do they have an A+ rating with the better business bureau? Would give a zero if I could.

This location is terrible. Period. The customer service representative that "helped" me in October demonstrated the smallest amount of professionalism and customer service possible. He didn't walk me through the features of the truck and was rude. I spoke to the team leader about my experience following the poor customer service experience I had and she failed to get back to me after promising to do after speaking with her team. Terrible.

We rented a U-HAUL truck for an hour and a half. We did not take the insurance as we were only going less than 30 miles. We returned the truck as they were closing the doors so we dropped the keys in the drop box. The next day I was doing some online banking and saw they charged by card nearly $500. They did not call us or notify us. Husband went in to get an explanation and they said we damaged the bumper. We asked for a log of all the damage on the truck but they didn't provide and said they don't log that way they log by ... read more

We reserved a 20” van for our move. When we arrived to pick up the van, we were told that they did not have the van we reserved, and the manager (her name tag said “owner”), actually told us that they routinely overbook vans. Be aware, reservations mean nothing to this company. They made no attempt — other than a phone call — to make it right. Potentially fraudulent business practices and pathetic customer service.

I ordered five 24” boxes and it didn’t say anywhere on the product page that that was the inside measurement. When you buy shipping boxes, you need exactly the size you order, or else you’ll be charged more which is exactly my case. They offer refunds but only if you pay for return shipping which is like $15-20 or more.....the package I got was no joke 5x5 feet for no apparent reason. And it was open when I received it. I’m not paying that much in shipping to get a refund about the same as the amount I would be paying to ret... read more
