Had a great time made a reservation for 730pm for two people got there a bit early waited at the bar got some wine it was good. Then the food is so good the staff is nice. Nice crowd people having a good time and enjoy the good food. Would come back
Have been to Becco previously and the service was excellent (seated upstairs and even on a holiday). Last night the service left a lot to be desired - disappointed.
We had a 1:30 reservation, but were able to be seated at 1 pm. Our servers were friendly and attentive. We got water and a bread basket as soon as we were seated. We were there Restaurant Week. Our soup: white bean with spinach and ham was tasty and served hot. The salad was fresh and crunchy. Entrees: salmon and brussel sprouts was flavored well, pork chop was a bit tough and really had no distinguishable side dish. That was rather disappointing. Always an excellent experience!!! The staff is top notch, anything you need, and very attentive. The food is always delicious!!!
Our dinner start to finish was superb! The bread basket with fresh hummus was incredible. Mussels in white sauce Caesar Salad was a little limp but croutons tasty . Ribeye steak with truffle oil fabulous but didn’t care for the fresh potato fries and broccoli . The short ribs were a special and superb as well as the mashed sweet potatoes and veg. Drinks were perfect. A extra dry goose martini and a cosmo. Too full for dessert!!!
Always loved this place but last time I was here it was only good. MUCH better last night but half the restaurant was reserved for a private party and everyone was squeezed in. Food was back to GREAT though.
Becco has been my favorite NYC restaurant for many, many years and last night’s dinner w/friends didn’t disappoint. Food, wine and service all the best at their price point and for those who criticize the noise I say “Welcome to New York,” b/c Becco is truly an authentic NYC gem!
Insanely Delicious Pasta, GET the Gnocci! Wonderful Seevice & Atmosphere. I Will Be Back!
Love it! Fav place in HK! Have the mussels and always the pasta! Great service too.
