Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." A great addition to Broadway's dining alternatives, the lovely restaurant is a popular pit stop for theater-goers. Very good food and service. Will definitely be back when in New York.
Food was very good, service was excellent! Had a great time. Seafood antipasto and fish dinner very fresh and seasoned just right. Very prompt service, no problems making the show after dinner.
The food was great and the service even better. Our server was very attentive and made our experience quite memorable. His suggestion of the desert sampler and a paired desert wine was the cherry on top of our experience. We highly recommend Becco!!!
Everything was perfect, the service was outstanding (thank you Raymond), the food was beyond compare - we had the three-pasta special, and each was better than the other! It was the perfect ending to our perfect day in the City. Thank you to all the staff!
We had a great dining experience . Our server, Erica, was attentive and personable. The food was delicious, from the bread all the way through to dessert.
This was the second time that I've dined at Becco. The food and the service are excellent. I will make it a point to go back again.
My husband and I went to dinner on Sunday night and they could not locate our reservation. We were brought to the back of the restaurant and had to squeeze into a table for 2. I was 2 inches from the table on the left and right of me. I was asking the waiter about a wine and the woman at the next table answered my question. Too close for comfort.
