Becco

4.3

About this business

Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." A great addition to Broadway's dining alternatives, the lovely restaurant is a popular pit stop for theater-goers. Sample their delectable prix-fixe pasta menu and the kitchen's redefinition of Italian flavors with an impressive wine list and seasonal cocktails.

Very good food. The short ribs melted in your mouth. Excellent value considering it’s right in the theatre district. We got the Sinfonia di pasta as a side for only $9 and we split it. Great service. Only complaint is that they really pack you in. The tables are very close. I was practically sitting in the guys lap behind me, but I’d definitely go back.

The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly, oh and don’t forget the wine was to die for! I would most definitely go back for more, an exceptional place with very good customer service and a knowledge of food. Highly recommend!!!!!

Went to Beccolast night . The place was packed. Lucky we had reservation. Ate upstairs where is was less noisy. The service was very nice. I had the pasta trio which was artichoke ravioli with ricotta, spaghetti bolognese and rigatoni with meat sauce and peas. All you can eat. Hot and tasty.

The food was marginal. I had higher expectations given the reputation of the owner. Our server was inattentive. Other servers were put off when asked to help or send our server over. Wanted to order dessert but due to lack of service were unable to order it in time to make our 8 pm show. Teamwork needed.

Absolutely fabulous. Great service, nice ambiance, and the food was fabulous. The ravioli was to die for. Would highly recommend for a business, romantic, or casual dinner.
