Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." A great addition to Broadway's dining alternatives, the lovely restaurant is a popular pit stop for theater-goers. Sample their delectable prix-fixe pasta menu and the kitchen's redefinition of Italian flavors with an impressive wine list and seasonal cocktails.

Great dinning, better food wonderful crowd need reservations
Not as good as it used to be. Three of us ordered the pasta special & instead of serving us individual frito misto starters, they served it “family style” which was much less food. The pasta dishes were very disappointing. Fresh tomato sauce shouldn’t be spicy & the spaghetti was thick, heavy & overcooked. The pasta & cheese was flavorless & gummy. The pesto, very watery. My nephew ordered a steak which was overcooked. His mom enjoyed her grilled swordfish. I didn't care for the bottle of wine recommended to us but I did hav... read more
Excellent food! I have been back several times and always get the chicken parm. I also love the dip, olives and breadsticks they give you at the table. Delicious!
Amazing 3 different pasta and assorted vegi. Grill appetizer can’t wait to go back!
I was at Becco on Friday 7/20/18. I was taken to a table on upper level first table was in an outer room with to much sun! After requesting I was seatedEd at a different table! My waitress was very pleasant! I ordered a glass a wine and their pasta special! I have had this before and was very good! Unfortunately this time was different it took to long to receive food! The pasta was lacking flavor and one with tomato sauce was almost raw it was hard to chew! I really didn’t finish my meal very uncomfortable. This might sound ... read more
Incredible pasta; excellent service; have been back several times, twice in one week! There may be lots of choices in the city for Italian food but you cannot go wrong at Becco’s
We were there for our 50th wedding anniversary dinner. The atmosphere is awesome especially if you get a table upstairs. Food was devine as was the wine. Waiters went above and beyond what you would expect. Our waiter Seth paid particular attention to us and helped make the evening such an enjoyable pleasure. All the other waiters who helped serve us were very professional. Will definitely go there again when we come back to New York.
In town for a brief visit and trying to track down some clams casino. We sat at the bar and Cesar provided top notch service. He encouraged us to order the antipasto caldo and we were blown away. The clams casino were great as expected but the eggplant was absolutely phenomenal! Great place, can’t wait to go back for a full meal.
Went to Becco last afternoon for lunch and had a fantastic experience !! The food was amazing. We really enjoyed the 3 pastas of the day that comes with your main entree, loved the saffron rice balls with mozrella and my family enjoyed the mussels in the white wine garlic sauce. A must visit for a great Italian meal !!!
