Right now, I'm a little more concerned as to what happened with my 3 year old appointment for an MRI at Clearwater Fee Basis? I'm begining to suspect we are all being Phoenixed right here at Bay Pines.
Doctors suck.. Save yourself!
I have been going to Bay Pines HCS for over 5 years. I had a Total hip replacement in 2010 and it was a wonderful experience. I now need the other hip replaced. I have never seen an institution change as much as BPHCS has. The employees act as if they are being bothered. I've had my appointments canceled and it was almost impossible to reschedule. Also I have witnessed receptionist just berate Vets for the smallest infraction of the rules. The employees have got the "Not my job man" attitude . Now I'm not so sure I want to h... read more
Bay Pines crippled my husband and killed my neighbor's husband. He was 51. If any other hospital system practiced the filthy, negligent malpractice of VA Hospitals they'd be closed, fined, and maybe face criminal charges. Murder is a crime, isn't it? Oh, not at the VA. Common practice there. How many Vets will you kill today?
Had the most condescending conversation with an Ortho nurse about me wanting more pain meds because I just had shoulder replacement surgery March 14th, and was told that people twice my age get shoulder and hip replacement all the time and they don't need that much pain meds. Wasn't sure if she just off-handedly called me either a pussy or an addict, or both. I asked for more meds on the 2nd, and it's now the 8th with no answer from my doctor. This is the worst VA Hospital in the system besides Tampa. In the 2 years they have been treating my husband has just about killed him. The doctors don't know the vets name or why there at a specialist appointment and all they say is EVERYTHING IS FINE. Wanna die to to Bay Pines.
