Emergency care:Once you can get admitted, past the long wait, the hospital is terrific. As for other options, it drinks. I cannot receive travel pay, I make too much $ on disability. Doctors are 50-50. Might take a few years to find a good one if you complain long enough.
I recommend that the VA return calls.

Place had gone to shit. Pure laziness. Strong lack of veteran employment in critical care positions is very relevant
Completed a visit with Dr. Khaw. I appreciated the extra time he took with me, he listened to my concerns and was very thorough. I honestly cannot recall ever having seen a doctor that actually paid that much attention to his patient. Thank you.
They are the BEST!!!Bay Pines has the most caring nurses and aides!We are so happy to be able to receive my husband's healthcare at this beautiful facility.
<RANT> Yesterday I was at the Bay Pines VA Center Eye Clinic and witnessed an employee treat a veteran with complete disrespect. I was the first person there yesterday morning and the man behind the counter was borderline rude with me. I walked up to the counter to sign in and got a very gruff "sign the log and sit down" I attributed it to it being 07:30. Around 08:00 a man came up to the counter who had obvious medical issues.
