Update: Been gone from this facility for 3 years. Returned and its only gotten worse. Intake nurse at the ER? Can't bother her. She's to busy talking on the phone. Didn't listen to a word I said. Assigned nurse? Yea. Lecture after lecture on how I need to take care of myself. That is MY responsibility to take "unpaid time off of work to ensure the VA is doing their job". What? CHARLIE SEZ I Retired from active duty in '86, and have been an out-patient since 1987. In that time I have received EXCELLENT care from all Staff & Doctors. Concidering the number of Veterans they serve per year their out-patient care is exemplary. I have had several surgeries there and received EXCELLENT care every time. I wholeheartedly reccomend Bay Pines VA Healthcare System to any/every veteran requiring medical attention. 'NUFF SAID
