My online order continues to be a nightmare! I complained about UPS and FEDX delivery people to them and to Bath and Body Works, uploading proof from my RING video camera and pictures of the damaged items, everytime and nothing has been done at all! This companies return policy is a lie. They claim they offer customers satisfaction guaranteed, when the stores clearly has their own return policies. I went into the store and was told after 90 days you’ll get a refund in the form of either a exchange or gift card and that they have gotten very strict. I got 20 percent back of what I actually paid for, they will give you the lowest possible price point. I am one who has been a loyal customer to BBW for over 10 years and I have enjoyed the products. Customer service have been hit or miss but I try not to let it get to me as the store does get busy. Well yesterdays experience at the Cross Creek Mall location in Fayetteville NC was disappointing. Ordered over $400 online & 1 of 5 boxes came in beat up, opened & everything in disarray w/body mist sprays upside down, lids on bottom of box, under 25 broken wallflowers. I took box into local store so she could see box & witness what came out & how I received. She was floored it wasn't shipped w/better protective packaging & agreed wallflowers were broken bc she picked several up & they were oozing liquid. I only wanted an even exchange on broken items. They do not honor their published return policy. Their written policy says if you have the original receipt you get a refund of your purchase price as shown on the receipt - if it is within 90 days it goes back to your method of payment. If it is over 90 days you get a gift card. That is not true. If you have the original receipt and it is past 90 days you get a PARTIAL refund of your purchase price on a gift card. I want to start off saying, I have been a customer with bath and body since I was in middle school and I am 24 now. My father (like every year) gives me a gift card to bath and body since I love it so much. I revived the email of the e-gift and no gift card was there. I had contacted customer support and was on a chat with them for over an hour! The lady had said she never seen this before and needed help, which is no problem. I returned 2 wallflower plug-ins to the store that was defective and was told they could do nothing about them that according to their policy they could not take plug-ins back the 2 plugs ins where draining the liquid up into the unit and it was leaking out the seams of the plug-in this item was a fire hazard. I was given no satisfactory response to the problem but I can assure you I will not longer be purchasing anything from them again ! Terrible customer service, ordered in November and took 2 complaints to BBB to get it. Looking over reviews below I clearly am not the only one. Don't order from them online with at gift card, looks like they loose those orders all the time, that's what happend to mine.

I placed an order back in December for the annual sale spent over $150 used my gift card online and somehow the order was placed but I never received a confirmation number. Went back to resubmit my order and the money from my gift card was gone. I called and told them one agent said no worries it would be replaced in 72 hours be sent to my email waited and nothing… called back and apparently they said without a order number it was nothing they could do.
