They have closed all the locations near me except for 1. And that ATM is always unavailable. I cannot use my own money. I have then have to go to other ATM's which then charge me a fee. I am losing my own money because i cannot take it out of my own bank. This is theft. They don't care either. These fees should be returned to me as they have given me no other options to take out my money. I don't know how this could be an A+ accredited business with all the issues they have and terrible customer service and practices.

Posting again because I'm on the line again with another agent that is simply pushing the ball down the "research department" lane. More accurately, the black hole of payment inquiries. Bottom line, they're stealing both my money and time. Simply disgraceful.

Want to rollover your 401(k) from Merrill to another account? You can forget about it. For the last year and a half, I have spoken with different representatives over the phone. Each call ended with the same result: no rollover. There was one instance where I actually received a check, but it was incorrectly made out to me and not Transamerica. Do not ever open an account with Bank of America. They closed my checking with direct deposit after charging a maintenance fee on my savings account, which was then -7.00. After 3 mo. they still have not paid off my balance to me. Now they accepted my stimulus check and are holding that as well. They said the account would close out in a few days but they told me this before. I am going to file a complaint with the FDIC
It's important to note this review is not in regards to this particular branch/instance of BoA. I am putting this review here, as this is the corporate headquarters. TL;DR: I would NOT open a credit card account with these folks or have any dealings with them whatsoever. Their customer service is bad. Their online account management system is old and outdated. I am new to Bank of America and have recently opened a checking and savings account with them. I loved the convenience of the automatic teller machines in the lobby. I make a cash deposit every Saturday morning as the bank is not open on Friday evening when my husband gets paid so he cashes his check, we do our shopping, and I deposit cash the next morning. I reached bank at 3:30pm local time to withdraw $15000 from my checking account. While standing in 'Q' for withdrawal the lady with bank came to me and asked how she could help. I said i need to withdraw $15,000 in cash. She says, they don't have cash with them and so I cannot be helped. Great mobile app. The website could be better though. Might be confusing, difficult to find info about a specific product.
If there were negative stars, I'd mark that. I spent over two hours today trying to get someone to explain to me what the unknown charges were on my account. These charges continue to increase every every month. I was transferred twice, put on hold several times for significant amounts of time yet no one could tell me what the charges were for.
