A lot of research went into looking for a place to bring my dog. So I brought my Maltese here and I had a good experience. The reason being it was recommended by a friend (Mission pet hospital & SPCA were also recommended), location was close, friendly staff answering my questions on the phone and cost. Atmosphere | Clean, small waiting room with a lot of stuff around so it can feel cramped. Staff | Friendly, two - three were at the desk, helped me with any questions I had Services | I brought him in for a health certificate... read more

Let me tell you, they've taken really excellent care of my kitty. I brought her there after another vet didn't give me very good instructions on how to deal with her newly discovered diabetes. I gave my cat too much insulin and nearly killed her! Dr. Melcon saved her life! I also see Dr. Wolf and Pertucci and they are really good with my cat and also take the time to make sure that i completely understand my cat's complex needs and "things to know in case of emergency" - now I'm managing diabetes AND CRF!!! The front staff i... read more

When I lived in San Francisco, I used to bring my cats to Marina Pet Hospital. I thought it was over priced and the front desk staff really drove me crazy (this is an understatement). Since then I moved to the East Bay. My cat was misdiagnosed at the new vet in the East Bay. On the brink of loosing my cat Tanner and my mind, I drove to San Francisco to see if they could help. Dr. Wolfe and Dr. Petrucci literally saved my cat's life. Dr. Petrucci did a surgery to remove a blockage in his intestines. She oversaw the healing pr... read more

5 Stars for Dr. Caroline Kim (she rocks) Dr. Kim is fantastic and understands that health care is a dialog. The best listening and explaining skills for a vet that I've run across in 4 states. We definitely have spent much time there over the last 4 years, and the staff us helpful and caring. My advice is to take the time to find the right vet for you in the practice - you will get an HMO approach (whatever vet is available) if you don't ask for a certain vet, which is fine unless your pet has special needs/complicated medic... read more

I love this place, very organized and the people always give a warm welcome. Very friendly, specially with the dogs. Try them if you want to experience quality service yourself.

Dr. Malcon is one of the best vets in the city. Dr. Petrucci was also great and was our vet for many years and we trusted her and Dr. Malcon completely.

The hospital is run by 4 women vets. All of them are great with our dog. It's easy to get appointments even on short notice. They get extra points for having a very affordable pet health insurance plan. It's only about $125-150/year. You get a discount on office visits, procedures, and meds. Vaccinations are free (and that alone makes the plan save for itself). Having gone through a couple of rather serious ailments with our dog, we've made good use of their services. Definitely high quality care!

I took my newly adopted my cat, Oliver here for a check up on Saturday morning. It was an 8am, the first appointment-- and although they opened about 5-10 minutes late, the rest of the visit went smooth. Dr. Kim was very patient with my long list of questions, and very informative. She treated Oliver well. As far as cost goes, I'm not sure because I'm a new owner. But, Oliver was tested for feline leukemia and aids as well as dewormed for $80... you make be the judge. Overall, good service, I'll be back!

Dr. Malcon is fantastic! Especially if you have a large breed. She is very attentive and never makes you feel rushed.
