I was give the wrong meds from the ************* Banfield location for my cat. I was supposed to receive felimazole for hypothyroidism and was instead given enalapril which is for a heart condition that the staff labeled as felimazole and sold to me. I gave my cat this medication for almost two weeks. I found out this was the incorrect medication on his next vet visit. I asked for his visit to be refunded. DO NOT USE BANFIELD IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE IN A CONTRACT! You pay a monthly fee for you wellness plan. But they pride themselves for if you need a visit in between your two visits a year you can get in and don't have to pay the office visit and only pay for test/prescriptions. IF THEY HAD APPOINTMNETS AVALIABLE. They are called Banfield Pet Hospital. You would think having "Hospital" that they would at least have a handful of appointments available/blocked out for same day emergencies/unplanned issues that come up. My dog ... read more

I don't understand why I am paying monthly but still have to go to a separate vet if my dog gets sick because I can't get an appointment. I don't understand their terrible and rude customer services that threaten collections if you want to cancel the plan. I can't comprehend why they have such horrible business practices. BANFIELD is the worst. I used to go to BANFIELD Santa **** . They rotated stuff so much and the ones at the front at incompetent workers. They put you on hold for long periods of time. They wanted to short me on my dogs medication too. Their appointment system is completely broken. Avoid taking your pets here. I dont understand why this establishment is still allowed to operate

My pet has been a patient there for 10 years and he recently began to form some type of growth on his face . I called to make an appointment with them to get this growth looked at and taken care of and they told me they had no appointments available til the end of November and to just keep him in a cone until then . THEY CONTINUED TO STEAL MY MONEY AFTER I CANCELED THE PLANS!!I have been fighting with Banfield vet Since 2019. My house was burglarized, leading to selling & being homeless in August 2019. At one time this was a great place. Appointments were easy to make when my pet did get sick which was very infrequent. I also have been paying for the Wellness plan for my 2 pets. The oldest pet since **** and the other pet since I got her 4 years ago. I was at Banfield Hospital on 9/21/21 for my pets comprehensive check up and the elder dog had a cough that required the Vet to put her on antibiotics. Now my elder pet I believe has a Urinary tract infection possibly due to the antibiotics and was unable to see a Vet today. W... read more

Banfield urged us to get our dogs teeth cleaned even though they were not having a negative effect on her health. With much persuasion from them we went with it. Our dog was 100% normal and healthy when she went in. They overdosed her on anesthesia and she died 5 days later.,They are incompetent and negligent.,They should have had us take her to emergency as soon as they realized their s**** up. Banfield is just a scam. It's crazy how after paying $ ****** a month wellness plans for 14 years, my dog ??passes away and they want me to keep paying for his plan. When I took my dog ??for his check up on 10/08/21, the vet told me that they were going to make an appointment for me to euthanize my dog ??the next day at 4:00 p.m. or if I wanted to, it was best to take the dog to a hospital because they didn't have an ultrasound machine to diagnose his illness.
