Took my little Lucy to be seen on Memorial Day she had suddenly became really lethargic and would not eat or drink we were greeted by a staff member at the door that made us very aware of the holiday prices we also told her she was bleeding which she once again told us about the holiday prices then she told us to go around to the back just in case it was parvo we waited they brought us forms to fill out as we were new to the hospital and once again we were informed of the “Holiday prices” so the waiting began and all we coul... read more
Dr Aguirre has a true love for her job. From the moment I brought my little chihuahua in the office on an emergency to his follow up she has shown great love towards him and the other animals she takes care of. As long as I’m in the Kern County area I will be taking my little guy in to see her. Thank you Dr Aguirre for all you have done and I truly appreciate you.
I’m here way too often but every time they are fast, professional & give my dogs the best care!!
RecommendedMy chihuahua was having trouble giving birth and the Dr was a savior so sweet nice and comforting. Bela had 5 puppies after an unplanned C-section & she’s now safe at home with her babies .Thank you Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital for being so wonderful knowledgeable &caring . The staff here is absolutely amazing!!
Worth the drive! They are professional and keep me informed on medications and treatments.
This hospital lied for weeks about having my dogs ashes. He was supposed to be cremated privately and we where to get his ashes, instead they cremated him with an entire group of other dogs and now we will never get his ashes back! Do not trust them, who ever answered the phone lied for weeks and said they had the ashes just had not been unboxed, truly so upset. So irresponsible and the lack of training shows.

Beautiful facility! Brought my pug in for a tumor on his leg. Same day surgery, he is doing great! Wonderful staff...so caring. Thank you, Dr. Aguirre!
