I’m a 911 Public Safety Dispatcher for the California Highway Patrol in Bakersfield. One evening we received a 911 call of a dog running on the highway. Luckily my wonderful Officers responded and were able to secure that poor furry baby. When Bakersfield City Animal Control and Kern County Animal Control refused to respond to them and take custody of the poor dog- the Ah-Mazing Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital helped my Officers by taking care/custody of her.
