I had purchased a mattress and box set exactly a year ago, and when I went to rotate my mattress discovered a small amount of black mold between the box spring and mattress. After I discovered the problem, I quickly searched for solutions. I found out that the box spring I purchased (which has a solid wooden top and drawers) has a definite likelihood of molding, as there's no way for the mattress to aerate. On March 29, 2017 I went to my local Mattress Firm store to purchase a new mattress. I asked to test a firm mattress and was taken to the most expensive model in the store - I was told it was a ******* *********** I laid on it and liked it and decided to get it even though the price was extremely high ($2,000). I will never buy from Mattress Firm again after my experience with Kurt at the Springfield location. He was ready to put through the order with the full list price and I had to actually ask to be charged the advertised holiday sale price. I also requested the advertised free shipping offer for purchases over $500 and was told there wasn’t one, but when I double checked again at home there WAS a free shipping promotion. We bought a ****************** mattress at Mattress Firm on Black Friday. The sale price was $1,499 for just the mattress. Within 2 weeks the side of the mattress collapsed. Mattress Firm replaced the mattress. 7 months later our mattress starts sagging so badly that I have to sleep upside down in bed. So I called the warranty department and they had an inspector come out to measure the sagging. It was well beyond 1.5 inches so the ******* manufactorers warranty applied. On Saturday July 29th we went to Mattress firm to purchase a NEW bed, we left excited that our new bed would be delivered on sunday July 30. Great customer service, couldnt have been more pleased with everything. Sunday Rich had put the old box springs out on the front porch to * help * them out save some time ( our mistake) The delivery men showed up, YAY , after looking at our box Springs and seeing a dead bug in some dust they decided not to let us have our bed. Ok so today' s is 07/27/2017 I went into the store on 07/16/2017 and bought a $3000.00 mattress well I still don't have my mattress and was called and told today I won't have my mattress for another 3 days really? The personal at the store including the store manager was very rude and condinsing. I understand that they had a warehouse move but don't make promises that you can't keep. And definitely don't call someone at 5:30 pm to tell them that you can't deliver their mattress the next day as promised 7 days before. Be more... read more

Ordered a bed for the 4th of July sale last Monday. When we ordered the sales guy said there were 7 in stock and I saw the screen there were 7 in stock he said it would be shipped to the store on Wednesday, and we could pick it up later that afternoon. But they got stuck in Lehigh on Wednesday, and then something came up again on. Thursday they dont deliver on Friday. Decided to buy a strong spa from mattress firm at the fair. They seemed knowledgeable and not too pushy, which I liked. After choosing a spa, we asked questions such as "how do we install the spa since it's curbside delivery?" We were reassured by the sales rep that she wouldn't leave us on our own after delivery and we would be taken care of as far as making sure our spa wasn't just dropped off and left without installation, also assured us that the spa was only 300 lbs and delivery was 4 to 6 weeks. I bought a ***** ******** bed from ***** ******* in Woodinville, WA in February 2012 (***** ******* in WA was purchased by ***** ****, then ***** **** was purchased by Mattress Firm). Within a few years there was significant sagging on the edge of the bed causing me to roll towards the edge.
