Wanted to transfer funds from my EQUITABLE/AXA account to another bank. Check was to be sent on July 29, 2021. Check did not arrive to *******-area location until 9/8/2021. Jeeeezzzz . . . it only took 10 days for the Pony Express to deliver coast to coast over 150 years ago! Come on, EQUITABLE. This is the 21st Century. We requested an electronic transfer. How can you give Equitable an A+ rating? After reading complaints that completely parallel my problem I believe Equitable is dishonest.Should be a negative star.

For the last three months, I've been trying to transfer my Equitable account funds to ********. To do so, I've had to complete a packet, which is fine. Everywhere requires a paper trail. To ensure that my packet was completed correctly, I went over it in detail with an Equitable representative and representatives from ********. However, there were poorly worded requirements that made filling out the packet correctly, even with help, impossible. There is no customer support. Usually their website is updated very late during the weekend. I have on occasion not been able to connect to my broakerage account ... this is a flaw on their website as to what appears for it sometimes has no link to the details. Other times the account does not appear on the website which makes me think it was somehow hacked. There is no technical support at all. There should be 24x7 technical support but no one can help with anything regarding the website on weekends. I am set up to be paper... read more

Worst company with which to do business. Should be a negative star or, at least , no star. Been trying to update an account status for years. The contact center employees are incompetent. Their website is incomplete and with errors. For example, they indicate their contact center is available 24 hours, 7 days a week which it is not. I called them, today, during the business day and their recording states that they are closed. The back office individuals are very incompetent. My accounts were locked without any notification, no email, no phone call, and no letter sent regarding this. I only found out when I tried to log onto my account, I had to call to figure out why. The call center was very courteous and took my info to be called back, because my account was flagged for potential fraud. AXA hires the most nonfiduciary individuals they can. i was lied to for 10 years at a cost to me of over 300k in gains. AXA couldn't care less. They just left me out to dry. i sent complaints to the CEO and the entire board via certified mail with zero response from any of them. Just a bunch of crooks.
