Love this place! Erik does a great job with my hair, and the prices are really reasonable for the value of the cut. Definitely would recommend this to all my friends!
I had an amazing experience at Shampoo Ave B. I got highlights and a trim from Andrea and am so happy with the results! The color is natural and not streaky at all (always my fear!), and the cut is just what I wanted. Highly recommended!
Shampoo Avenue has been my go-to salon for years now. I finally came here after a year-long unhappy journey at other places that just could not nail my auburn color. I've been living in the city for a little under 2 years now and struggled to find a salon that was affordable and provided quality service to match the price. Shampoo Avenue B is the best! I used to live down the street and became hooked. I moved to Boston over a year and a half ago and I still come back to get my haircuts from Sylyse! He is fantastic and my hair looks awesome every time! The whole salon feels super welcoming and I've sent numerous friends there (who have loved their experiences as well). Definitely recommend checking it out!
This place is great, I've had Carlos cut and color my hair for a couple years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. I went in the first time not really knowing what I wanted, and he gave me a great style and a fantastic natural looking red. Everyone is also always super friendly, I would highly recommend!
Shampoo Avenue B offers great quality, affordable hair care services in the heart of Alphabet City. I got a great cut and my stylist helpfully suggested reasonably priced products for my hair type without being too pushy. This salon is chic without being stuffy or pretentious and all the people I interacted with were friendly and professional. Will definitely be back soon!
I have always had great experiences at Shampoo Avenue B. I've done Keratin, coloring, highlights, and cuts. Jessica is wonderful and welcoming, and always does a great job. She is the only one who has been able to cut my hair short and allow me to love it. It's a fun atmosphere and a great salon. One of my favorites in NYC.
