One of my good friends recommended this place to me after I had spent ages searching for a nearby and reliable place to get my haircut! Had an amazing haircut by Jessica, and I would definitely return to get my hair cut by her again!
I am a big fan of Shampoo Avenue B. I was referred by my aunt, who attends the Jersey City location (and who, I might add, has ever-fabulous hair). I was given one of the best cuts I have ever had at the East Side location and highly recommend in a city filled with so many salons. Great atmosphere and knowledgeable staff.
Raquel is amazing. Does my cut and color and I'm always happy. Plus she's always on time and so sweet, and the salon serves you a drink!
Shampoo Avenue B has consistently been a great salon for my haircuts and styling needs for the last 3 years. Their welcoming environment, friendly and skilled stylists (I've always seen Jen - she is talented and lots of fun to chat with), and their prices always keep me coming back.
I was referred to Shampoo Avenue B (specifically to Carlos) by a friend when I moved here a few years ago. I am continually impressed by the quality of cuts and color at such an affordable price in NYC. The location is less than ideal for me, but I continue to shlep there because I refuse to go anywhere else. The secret must be out though, as it's getting harder and harder to get appointments there within a month.
I love Shampoo Avenue B! Reasonable prices and really great service. I go there for cut & glaze treatment and have never left disappointed.
After much searching, many so-so haircuts and a few traumatic cuts I finally found Shampoo Avenue B! A few years ago I was desperate for a change and found them on Lifebooker. I went in with long hair and told the stylist, do something crazy, I've had short hair before and I need a change. I Well she took me at my word! Great service! super friendly and welcoming, wonderful outcome of hair!! and loved the recommendations for products but didn't feel pushed! overall great defiantly will return!
I just moved to New York from the west coast and one of my biggest fears was finding another place to get my hair done. I read several convincing reviews, sucked it up and booked my first appointment, and haven't looked back since. The entire group is professional, catering, well priced, and incredibly good at what they do. It's a great family to be a part of!
