As someone with thick, curly hair, it's taken me years to find somewhere I was comfortable going. Next week is my second haircut with Eric, who has even curlier hair than me! He cuts with confidence and has a good conversation with the client before making any decisions. Planning on making a change next week and am looking forward to hearing and taking his tips and advice!

I have been going to Jessica at Shampoo Ave B for 2 years now and I absolutely love how she styles my hair. I went to many NYC salons before I found Jessica and I am so happy that I found her. I think it is hard to get blonde highlights to be just the right shade and she gets it right everytime and makes them look very natural at the same time. I highly recommend this salon and I'm excited to check out the new location soon!

I originally found shampoo avenue B through lifebooker and have been going there for several years. I've seen a number of stylists and have only been disappointed once, but that stylist was gone soon after. Great haircuts and color in a nice atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend.

I love Shampoo Avenue B! I have had multiple services with a few different stylists and each of them went above and beyond my expectations. I don't normally review places but I know how traumatic it is for a girl to get a bad haircut/dye job and if this review can prevent that, I'm happy that I could help!!

I stumbled on this salon through lifebooker and it's a gem! Cozy spot with stylists that know what their doing and have given me fantastic cuts. Highly recommend!

Great service, Sylyse is great stylist, professional who can create great styles with contemporary flare for his clients. All staff very friendly, warm atmosphere. Very happy with Sylyse and his work.

I've been going to Shampoo Avenue B for hair it's and color for a few years now and have only had positive experiences. Each stylist is talented and the prices are more affordable than other salons I've visted. I recommend this salon.

After using LifeBooker and Groupon for years and going to a new salon each time, I finally stopped after finding Shampoo Avenue B. Emily was able to fix my botched LifeBooker haircut and gave me the best cut I've had in NYC in years. She was knowledgeable and even provided great advice for how to take care of my hair in between appointments. I highly recommend Emily and Shampoo Avenue B.

I've been coming to Aut at Shampoo Ave B for...almost four years now. I originally bought into the higher quality hair salon experience because I got a deal on LifeBooker, and I was a cheap recent college grad. Fortunately, I've learned a thing or two about the difference between the levels of personal care available to you in NYC. Barbers, cheap cuts, and regular salons serve to make your hair shorter and presentable. That's nice, and a lot of individuals preferences go about as far as "clean it up, please".
