I used a LifeBooker for a partial highlight and cut for Shampoo B and I am extremely happy with the service. Emily was my hairdresser and was great with accommodating the style I was going for. She even advised me and guided me through my decisions. She gave me a very natural look and did just what I was looking for. I will definitely be back!

After trying many salons in Manhattan and Brooklyn, I finally found a stylist I truly love, Aut! Not only has she always cut my hair to perfection but I have always seen those finishing before me beaming as they leave her chair. The woman works magic! Shampoo Ave B is an equally enjoyable experience. The salon is very relaxed and fun but the service is always excellent. They offer you a beverage as soon as you walk in the door and make sure to attend to you throughout your appointment.

I will only go to Shampoo Ave B for a haircut and blow dry in this city - otherwise I just wait until I'm away at Christmas! The stylists are friendly, the booking is handled professionally with plenty of reminders and flexibility. You're offered a water or beer when you come in, which is perfect for the late evening appointments I make. I've been happy with the last three haircuts I've had there, and my hair is fussy. Shampoo Avenue B is my new go-to salon! They have reasonable prices and high-end services. I've been here twice so far and Raquel was my stylist both times. I love her style and how my hair looked after each service. I cant wait to visit their new location!

After 10 years of long, straight hair, I decided it was finally time for a change and a chop. I'd been going to the Aveda school for years just to get trims, but wanted a professional for a professional haircut. Aut listened attentively to my concerns with short hair, and explained alternatives and work-arounds so I wouldn't look like a soccer mom. I've only had great experiences at Shampoo Ave B! The staff is friendly, warm, and attentive, and I've never been disappointed! Great cuts, color and amazing blowouts for a good price, which I think are hard to find elsewhere in NYC... you won't be sorry :)

I have lived all over Manhattan and Brooklyn but will only go to Shampoo Avenue B for a haircut. I have been a client of Sylyse for the last four years and he is a genius. My hair is very thick and he always does a great job re layering it and taking some of the weight out so it still looks healthy and full. I always leave with an amazing, silky blow out too! All of the staff are super friendly and up-beat. They also have great products for sale and magazines to read. Excited to check out the new space!

Shampoo Ave B has become my go to in NYC since I moved here 2 years ago. Before I found my stylist, Raquel, I had been to 4 other salons trying to find a reasonable but professional stylist to do my highlights. Not only are they expanding and moving to a new studio due to their increase volume of business (I assume) but they carry good products and take their time with each client. Highly reccomended.

I've been getting my hair cut by jennifer for about a year at Shampoo Avenue B. I have always been very happy with my cut because she always listens to what I want and never cuts off more than I ask. She's very friendly and I feel comfortable in her chair. The staff is also really great and always offer beer, wine, etc which I think is always a nice added bonus.
