This year will be my fourth as a customer at Shampoo Avenue B. I've only worked with one stylist in that time, and have been super happy with her. It's always been easy to communicate with her, and there've been many times in which she has helped me figure out what I want when I haven't always been able to articulate it. I just moved to the city and was kind of worried about finding a place in my neighborhood, but Raquel was great. She was so sweet and listened to me when I said I didn't want to lose much length, but wanted to keep my hair healthy. Can't wait to go back.

I searched so long for a good salon since I moved to the city two years ago. And not that I'm picky about my hair, but I like to feel comfortable and happy with the result afterwards and this was the place! They are all super friendly, accommodating, always offer coffee, water, beer, tea, etc... Also, Racquel is my favorite there, she will be my regular hair dresser as long as I'm living in the city! I just kind of told her what I was thinking of getting, and let her go to work and loved the outcome!
Shampoo is a great salon with very talented staff! I have had 3 haircuts there, all with different stylists, and have been pleased every time. The salon is very bright and clean, and is located in a great location in the East Village!

I regularly go to Shampoo Avenue B, they've become my go-to for hair. They greet you with an offer for a beverage, including a beer if you choose. The wait has never been more than 7 minutes to get started with a shampoo. I have always been pleased with the result.
