After moving from Nashville to NYC in June, I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a top-notch, affordable hair salon. I was wrong! I love Shampoo Avenue B and highly recommend giving it a try. I saw Erik, a senior stylist, and he did a great job trimming and blowing out my hair. Will definitely be returning.

I've been all over this city getting haircuts, but my favorite place is Shampoo Avenue B. Everyone there is always attentive and courteous while I wait. They'll offer me a drink and make sure I feel comfortable, which is hard to find in some spots. The stylist I keep returning to is Aut - she's given me the most adorable bobs and makes the whole experience super enjoyable. I always feel like a million bucks when I leave that place. Definitely recommend!

Amazing service at an affordable price. My stylist Jen restored my faith in hairstylists and hair salons by intently listening to what I wanted and delivering just that. She recommended products for my own good and not for the capital gain of the salon, which I appreciated. Her recommendations helped in stopping my hair fall. Very friendly and welcoming staff and a very attractive decor. So satisfied with Shampoo Avenue B!

I have been a loyal client of Erik's for the last two years. He always listens to what I want, never rushes, every hair cut has been great (I go every 5-8 weeks), and I often get compliments. I have fine and thin hair and wanted to go from a long bob to a pixie cut the first time I went in. Absolutely love this place! They always have a friendly staff and Jessica is the best. I have issues growing my hair because of the highlights so Jessica suggested a dry cut. It was one of the best cuts I've ever received and I'm finally able to start getting the length I want. Between my stylist and the atmosphere, I refuse to go anywhere else.

I have been going to Shampoo Ave B for over 6 months now. I am so pleased with the services they provide, how cost effective it is for students (offerings discounts for current students with ID), and how conveniently they are located. I knew after my first visit with Carlos that I will never let another salon touch my hair again. I trust Carlos so much, knowing that whatever he does will look no less than amazing. After moving to NYC two years ago I was desperate to find "my place" to cut my hair. A friend recommended Shampoo Avenue B and I have been hooked ever since.
