I had my first appointment at Shampoo B last month for highlights. After moving to the city and having gone to the same salon for over 10 years, I was a little nervous to make a switch, but it was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was great and I felt very comfortable with Sylyse. I've already booked my next two appointments!

Best value in the city! I have been to Shampoo Ave B now a few times for highlights and cut. I really appreciate that highlights include toner and a blow-out. Both of the stylists I have had (Erik and Violet) were very professional, patient with my massive hair and skilled. I walked by today and saw their new digs and it looks amazing. Can't wait for my next appointment!

It's a beautiful salon with a great mod vibe. Had a picture of what type of haircut I wanted, basically a layered modern bob that looked somewhat edgy. Got exactly what I wanted. What a great feeling! Months later, I still get compliments on my hair. Will definitely go back.

I originally went to Shampoo Ave B because it's right next to my apartment and they had a deal on Yelp. You can only use the Yelp deal once, but I've gone back because I really like the stylists, I've been to a few of them and they have always been friendly and willing to listen to what I want - I went to an Aveda Salon and the stylist refused to give me bangs - so I went to Shampoo Ave B to get a bang trim. Shampoo Avenue B is my favorite hair salon for cut, color and Brazilian blowouts. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the salon is stylish and chic!

Shampoo Avenue B is the only place I trust for my hair needs. Initially, I would get my hair colored by any stylist who was available because they are that good. Then, I happened upon Sylyse one time and I was hooked. He gave me the perfect lightness on the bottom of my ombré, while still maintaining the overall flow of color. I see him once every 4-6 months and always get compliments on my color in between sessions. I had a great experience at Shampoo Avenue B. The staff was friendly and attentive, and my appointments were on schedule when I arrived which is important to me. My stylist gave me a terrific cut and highlights that were done to perfection. After bouncing from salon to salon, I have finally found a neighborhood gem and will be back.

I have loved Shampoo Avenue B since I got my first haircut there 2 years ago, and I haven't gotten my hair cut anywhere else! Erik was the best - my hair looked great and grew out well. I strongly recommend this salon - they definitely know what they're doing. (Plus, they give you free beer!)

I have held off writing a review for Shampoo Avenue B for the longest time for selfish reasons... I don't want them to get too crazy popular that I'll never be able to get an appointment again. This is my first long term, monogamous relationship with a hair salon. Carlos consistently gives me great cuts, honest opinions and always helps me figure out the best cut and style for my hair. I always leave feeling like a million bucks. Shampoo Avenue B is a great find.
