I had a great time with Sylyse and will definitely be back. I have thick hair that can be wavy or straight so I've had a hard time finding a good stylist. Sylyse really listened to my thoughts and concerns and did a great job weighing in to give me a fun, comfortable cut!

Shampoo Avenue B might have been the most positive haircut experience I have ever had! I have a long history of terrible hair salon experiences, but I've been here twice and each time I've walked away feeling fantastic with my cut and the overall experience. It's a warm, welcoming environment for people (like me) who get nervous about haircuts. I'm looking forward to my next trip!

By far one of the best haircuts I've ever had! I saw Aut about 4 months ago and my hair still looks awesome - seriously - everything (bangs included) was cut so well that it has grown out in such an awesome way I haven't had to go back for a while! My hair was feeling really bulky and weighed down, so I asked her to thin it out and make it lay better - it still looks awesome! When I moved back to NY I was gifted an appointment with Amelia by a friend who couldn't keep hers. It is by far the best gift I've ever received. I haven't had a steady stylist in years because I can never tell much of a difference despite price points. I love Amelia. I can't recommend her enough for those of us with fine, thin and/or short hair. I should also mention the friend that first set me up with Amelia continues to fly cross country to get her hair done. I had an amazing haircut here with Jessica. I hadn't had so much as a trim to my curly hair in at least a decade, and decided it was time to chop it off. Jessica really listened to what I was looking for, and I had a few sample photos of the style I wanted. She made the first big cut before my wash, so I could donate to locks of love. I love this place! Jen is my go-to girl and she always does the best job with blonde highlights. I've gone to a few other places in the city and they're all overpriced or don't do a great job. This is the only place I trust!
