Shampoo is definitely one of the best salon experiences I have had in NYC in years. The staff is friendly, the shop itself has a great atmosphere and welcoming vibe and they are always on time with their appointments. Erik is the best, always able to execute any cut and never rushes, always takes his time and gets it perfect. As a guy, I appreciate that the cut also grows out perfect so you don't need to be back every week. I've been going there for almost two years and can't recommend it enough!!

Having a bad day is inevitable having a bad hair cut is not. That's why I keep going to Shampoo Avenue B. This salon has top quality hairstylists who care for detail as much as they care for hair. Always satisfied with their service and highly recommend this salon.

I've been to Shampoo Avenue B (for cuts and highlights) many times over the past few years, and am finally just getting around to writing a review. Had an amazing haircut here by someone who no longer is in the business, but went for another haircut here by someone else and was just as impressed. In a sea of expensive and bad hair cuts, I'm so happy for Shampoo Ave B.

I visited Shampoo Avenue B for the first time earlier this month after multiple girlfriends recommended it. All of their positive and glowing reviews were spot on. Everyone is friendly and made sure to make me feel pampered for the hour I was there. I had a great hair wash followed by a fabulous cut by Erik. My long and straight hair has never looked this good with my new subtle angles which help give it body and movement. Absolutely love this salon. I've been going to Jennifer & appreciate how consistent she is with haircuts and styling. She's friendly, listens & always recommends the best cut/style. Everyone's really friendly at Shampoo Avenue B which makes for an overall pleasant experience--highly recommend!

I have had 3 haircuts and 3 partial highlights done at the salon. The cuts were among the best I've ever had. The highlights were also amazing. I'm a blonde and the highlights were not brassy or fake looking. I highly recommend the salon. The stylists are patient and they are also very knowledgeable.

Love this hair salon! Erick is my favorite and I trust him with my hair. Appointments have been easy and the receptionist is super sweet. I've had the BEST hair wash massage ever at this salon. I would go back for just the head massage. It was amazing. I will be back! Xo. KB

I have been going to Shampoo for years. They do great work, are incredibly professional, and are in a great location. The free beer doesn't hurt either. I go to Amelia, but I'm sure the other stylists are great as well. It can be hard to find a salon you really like in the city, as there are 8 million options. But I really dig this place.
