I went to Shampoo Ave B for the first time with a Lifebooker deal. Very friendly, lovely people who work there! It took a while to schedule the appointment because they are very popular and busy. Once I booked an appointment almost a month in advance, they sent me many confirmation and reminder emails/texts. Jen has been doing my highlights for the past 3 years, since I first moved to Manhattan and I don't ever see myself going anywhere else. On the rare occasions that Jen isn't available I've had my hair done by a couple other stylists at the salon and all have done an excellent job. I always leave happy with my hair. I am so happy I found Shampoo Avenue B! I moved to the city a few years ago and struggled to find a good salon that wasn't ridiculously overpriced. I had a wonderful experience at Shampoo Avenue B! I wanted a new cut and highlights and my stylist had wonderful suggestions for me on both fronts. She even put my color combo into their database so that if I come back and want the same job they will know what to mix. I am so excited that they are moving (just a few blocks down Avenue B)-- now they are right across the street from me! Can't wait to go back.

This place is amazing! I went on a living social deal & it was the greatest find! I have recommended countless friends to go & all are now loyal customers. In the 7 years I've been going, I continue to go to Carlos even though I have moved out of the city. This place is a gem!!

I love Shampoo Ave B. I've been going here for a few years now & refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. Sylyse is amazing and always gives me exactly what I want. The staff is always friendly & attentive. Nothing but great experiences every time.
