I've been getting my curly mane cut by Jen for years now and will not trust anyone else with my hair. She knows just how to cut curls, which many stylists cannot handle. Love this place.

I found Shampoo Ave B almost 4 years ago after getting a deal online and I am so grateful. I leave satisfied every time. I have thick and curly hair and I recently transitioned to a short cut and the stylist worked with me and the final result was great. I get compliments even after the cut has grown out and I'm due for another. That is a testament to the kind of work they do here! I don't color my hair but I have had the chance to see the color work on other people and I am consistently impressed.

If you have curly hair (like me) you know how traumatic getting a haircut can be. You won't be sorry if you go to Shampoo Ave B. Although i don't get into the city as much as i would like, when i do i only let Sylese cut my hair. Everyone there is great and they make you feel like part of the family. Give them a try, you won't be sorry.

I have been going to Shampoo Ave B since 2011- I've gone from waist-length locks to a short bob, brunette to blonde, I've added flashy streaks of pink, red, and turquoise and even braved the commitment of an undercut. Carlos has been there the whole time, perhaps not entirely supportive of every clipper-yielding decision (and with good reason), but an incredible ear of style-support and always eager to perfect his effortless haircuts and color jobs. This place is great! Staff are fantastic, stylists are talented. I've been going here for almost 2 years, and as long as I stay in NYC, that won't change. This place gets my official stamp of approval!

Been going here to see Jessica exclusively since getting a Lifebooker coupon a couple of years ago. Jessica is great- she takes her time, is always authentic and gives a great cut and blowout. The shampoos have been good too- nice products and scalp massage. They have late hours and are always busy.

Aut cut and colored my hair the best out of any hairdresser I have had before. The colour looks natural and my hair felt so fresh and bouncy after the cut and blowdry. Thanks Aut!

I found Shampoo Avenue B through a Living Social special 2 years ago. I am going in for 15th cut and color next week. Needless to say I think I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with my stylist, the salon, location, service and the cost. Oh and how FABULOUS I look too!!!

I have been cutting my hair with Jen for almost 2 years. I travel from the upper eastside. The salon is clean and all the staff friendly. Jen is the best. First we discuss what my likes and dislikes are for my hair. Then she spends at least 45 min cutting and styling. I walk out feeling great! I know when I love my haircut and dont want to wash it for days after,that I will definitely be back with Jen for my next haircut!
