I have been going to Shampoo Avenue B for over 5 years. The hairdressers are incredibly talented, professional and friendly. The salon is clean, well-designed, and comfortable. I am always pleased with the outcome, which is why they've earned my patronage for such a long time!

Great Place! Always go there! Great service and quality. I color my hair almost evey month. ANd they have greatest specialists that allow me not to damage my hair and at the same time always look perfect! Feel like at home there. Thank you!

Been getting my haircut here for years (with Amelia). Super friendly staff, chill place, good prices, always happy to go there. Looking forward to their move down the block!

I've had good and bad experiences here, depends on who you get. Overall very affordable however, when with my bad experience I'll will probably come back but request a different stylist.

Shampoo Avenue B is without a doubt the best salon I've ever been to! I moved here two years ago and luckily was referred to the salon by a friend. I haven't gone anywhere else since!! I have short hair and so to maintain my style I'm there every five weeks. The level of service is beyond incredible. The entire staff is welcoming, friendly and professional. WARNING!!!! Don't be scammed by this place!!!!! I went there today for the first time and I was so excited because of all the great reviews. I wanted to get a cut and highlights but the girl said they had given me a 3 hour slot and because I was an hr late because I got lost getting there, she can only do my cut I said fine and I felt bad and I said I'll reschedule to go back since this was my fault. Worst salon experience of my life. It would be bad enough if they only ruined my hair, but they were rude and condescending in the process. Generally, nasty and unhelpful. Seemed to be content to take my money with no concern for how my hair actually came out. Terrible experience, will never go back. Potential clients BEWARE! Save your money.

I bought a lifebooker voucher for 2 haircut and blowdries for like $59 and 20% discount yesterday with 10 days possible refund. Moved to new york a while ago, and was looking for a new salon. Got a couple of lifebooker ads and really wanted to try Shampoo Avenue B. I called to find out if they have any appointments prior to purchasing the deal...
