STAY AWAY! (Better served on Amazon) Ordered a PFD vest may 29th didn't get notified about it being on back order for a month! RecommendedI do recommend ACK. However as of late their warranty depart has started to take a real nose dive. I purchased a brand new 2020 Hobie Outback which was supposed to come with Turbo Kick Up fins. My drive came with standard fins (a $179.00 difference). Hobie was shut down due to the unfortunate Covid situation, which I understand. I was promised that once they reopened (which they have been for weeks now) I would be sent the correct fins. I recently ordered a new Oldtown Sportsman kayak from ACK. I had never purchased from them before and was a little skeptical to spend a good bit of money on a kayak from somewhere new. I read some of the reviews and decided to order through them anyways. The process was seamless. My order shipped out within two days. It took about 2 weeks before it actually arrived, but any questions I had were answered promptly. The kayak arrived to my house with no issue. It was wrapped well and had zero damage.
Fuming right now! sSent the motor but no kayak? wtf! thank you for ruining the one nice day we thought we could get out on the lake!!!
Respect your customers. Honor your customer's Warrantee. Do not make them wait a year for any kind of satisfaction.
I called about a feel free kayak 10 and both gentlemen were nice and helpful with my order. I’m waiting for it to be shipped now since it was out of stock so I’ll give another review once it get here. So far so good.
Horrible customer service. They don't return calls. Their knowledge of the product I ordered was Zero. When I called back the woman told me the missing parts to my order were not their responsibility. I almost couldn't get mad because She sincerely believed she was right.I tried to explain that customer service means helping the customer with problems. She actually said it wasn't! I don't know how they Stay in business with this attitude. I'll never buy from them again.
I drove 90 min out of my way to ACK to buy a sit-in kayak, none in the store. Told many in whse, but can't go there. Tell us what you want and we'll bring one out. I don't know until I sit in them. "We don't sell many sit-ins. But have many in the whse." Can we go there, I asked. No. We just don't sell many.
