Cool club, let's get the word out – This place is really cool, classy, good music, good service, etc. It's sad that on 2 of the 3 nights I was there it wasn't very hopping.
Impressive – Out of this world experience! The ambience, food, SERVICE and overall experience was FaBuLoUs!!! If you haven't been to AURA yet, get there!
Not just for business dinners... – My husband has been raving about this place since he first tried it on one of his many business trips a few months ago. When I was finally able to accompany him this last trip, I insisted we try his "new favorite spot". Well, I can say that after 20 years of marriage, we still agree on a few things. Pretty smokin' for Portland – I came down from Seattle to check this place out. Being from Oregon originally, I was very impressed with this place for being in Portland. I recommend Aura to all my friends and am making a trip back very soon. Keep it up and don't lose the vibe!!
GOOD STUFF! – Took a date there last saturday night and she was impressed! Super-nice place, GREAT food! Loved the color-coded martini's'green was our favorite... Dancing doesn't really get started till about 11:00, and don't smoke!
Club, Restraunt, Bar... all in one – This is a great place. You can sit and have dinner (good food) and talk, you can hang out at a bar, or you can go dance. The place is big enough to accomodate people, but small enough to be intimate. Mostly what I like is that the ambience is sophisticated without being snobby.
Wowy Zowy – Whoa! This place is awsome. The food is first rate, from shareable food and mini burgers for the early-late crowd, or snuggle up in one of the giant booths for a fine dining environment and order one of the entrees. Desserts are house made including nuggets of love like grilled-chilled mango skewer with wasabi-ginger ice cream or Lambac Raspberry mousse (made with raspberry beer) on sweetened rice paper. Great Place!!! – I was at Aura last Saturday and we had a blast! Great drinks, awesome food and the best-looking crowd in Portland, even though some of them haven't figured out that wearing sunglasses in a club at night went out about two years ago!!!!
fun fun fun – we had a blast at aura this weekend! food was top notch: check out the Blue Tier! the beer list was amazing for such a high profile restaurant, they even had Chimay & Lambic! by 10pm on saturday night the place was hopping, so we moved from our cozy booth onto the dancefloor and shook our booties all night long.
