Rude servers and go-go dancers unwatchable – bouncers were very rude. go go dancers need around 100 sit ups. i realize this is portland, but you can't even find 2 hot women in the whole city? ok, town, but still.

Poor service, rude employees, bad food..... – I went to aura in a group of eight on a Friday night for dinner.....BIG mistake. I was appalled at their complete lack of service and disregard for their customers, it was as if we weren't even there. It took over thirty minutes to get our drinks refiled after they had ran out. Six of us had to wait an hour and a half before getting our food, and the other two in my group got their food twenty minutes after everyone else had finished. Unique setting, great service and delicious, beautiful food – We were looking for something "romantic" with great quality. Saw Aura on Citysearch and remembered walking past it thinking, "this is damn interesting..." We had the Beatles Tribute show to go to so got to the restaurant at 5:00. With Happy Hour prices, we enjoyed a couple cool ones and the funky, contemporary setting. Best Club in P-town – I wish that I would have visit Aura sooner, it is by far the best club in Portland! We walked into the place at 11pm and already the dance floor was packed and it only got busier as the night progressed. The Dj's were excellent and could actually mix instead of just letting the song play 'til the end. The variety of music was a refreshing change. I thought that the crowd and the staff would be stuck up but I was wrong. The place to be if you are looking for good music, strong drinks and classy people!

Cool atmosphere, crappy music – Neat look about the place, cool lights, couches, trendy crowd. Go for a VIP event, not just a night out to dance. I went on a Friday night, and the DJ was awful! The music was not danceable, it was too slow and when the crowd responded to each song with a groan, a boo or a thumbs-down, he didn't even look up to see it! Drinks are well-priced, and the bar is easily accessible.

Go somewhere else – I do not recommend this place for dinner, drinks nor dancing. The employees at the door on weekends are clueless, disorganized, unprofessional and immature. Inside the drinks are watered down and expensive for their quality. The food is subpar and service could be better. Save your money, time and energy and avoid this place.

Worst Customer Service – Not a great place for a group and/or an intimate party. Staff was not well educated nor was it a pleasant experience. Food was not that great either. I would go into detail but it is not even worth my time. I would never go back.

Excellent, We had a great time! – I went here recently for my wife's birthday. I called them about a week and a half before and told them I would be bringing a group of about 20 people and if they could reserve an area for us. This they gladly did and it didn't cost anything to reserve it. BEST FONDU – VERY COOL ATMOSPHERE. SMALL MENU, BUT VERY GOOD FOOD.PRICES ARE JUST RIGHT.I DID NOT GET TO EXPERIENCE THE DANCING BECAUSE WE LEFT TOO EARLY BUT I WILL DEFINENTLY GO BACK.
