Horrible, God awful experience, worst night of my life... – I went to Aura on 1/17/09 and I checked my bag and coat for $4. I was glad they had this service because who wants to worry about their items all night, right? Anyway, was having a pretty good time, the drinks are pricy, but well made. Average Place for fresh out of college – This place seems to attract an older crowd (30s). The music is hip or miss, if the music is miss when you walk in then it's pretty much that way for the rest of the night. There are younger people there just look for the skimpy dressed girls. Drinks are expensive compared to other clubs in Portland. Otherwise not a place for me, maybe when I'm a 30 year old bachelorette.

Excellent Birthday! – This is my first time posting a review, but just had to with my recent experience at Aura. I had the best time celebrating a milestone birthday! All of my friends agree that we couldn't have asked for better service, a great atmosphere, music and overall good time! We danced the night away and had great food and drinks to keep us going! Best VIP Birthday Experience Ever – We recently had the most amazing 30th birthday party on a Saturday night at aura upstairs in the sky lounge for about 25 people. When we arrived the private curtain was pulled, there were beautiful vases filled with orchids and our champagne was chilled. The setting was gorgeous and we were treated like rock stars. Amazing space and service!! The chocolate fondue is one of a kind!! – I usually don't write reviews, but I recently attended a birthday party at Aura and I was so impressed by the experience that I had to write something! I was talking for days about the exceptional service and array of delicious food. Will NEVER go back again!!! – This was my worst experience in a club ever! I had reservations at this club for my 25th birthday party for 20 people. You would think that if you had a party of 20+ people who are all ordering food and drinks, we would have been taken care of. Unfortunately, it was the extreme opposite! Awesome music and fun dancing. – I went to Aura last weekend, the only downer was we had to pay cover even though we were supposed to be on the VIP list. The music was good and the drinks weren't too expensive. Overall I liked the crowd and the music wasn't just straight rap which was nice for a change!
Need New Menu's – Ok, so they got rid of there great fondu platter with vegies...so, now you have to pay extra, and they also got rid of the sirloin tips that you used to be able to order with the fondu. Also we did not get any cotton candy at the end of our meal.
