Highly recommend!!! They were great with me and explained everything to me and made me comfortable.
I give AFD a 5 star rating for sure! I came in as a new patient that doesn't like change very much and I felt very comfortable and had all of my questions answered with a breeze. I was greeted several times by different employees and got a nice tour of the very clean and well kept office.
As usual, Darlene and everyone I can in touch with was very nice to helpful and nice.
Loved the lady that cleaned my teeth!! She was funny!
The staff was very thorough and kind ! I was in and out of there in less than an hour and a half. (This includes concultation and surgery to get my wisdom teeth removed) I would definitely recommend Athens Family Dental 👍🏻

My family & I have been going to AFD for several years. We have Highly Recommended them for all of those years. After our last appointments for basic cleanings and checkups we have decided to take our business elsewhere. We will be going to a holistic dentist office. Despite what Google may tell you, AFD is not holistic. They require you to get XRays even if you are willing to sign a form relieving them of any responsibility for missing something. I am a long time patient of 21 years. Absolutely love Dr. Pate and his team, he has done numerous crowns for me over the years. Yesterday I went in for my twice a year cleaning appointment. Due to a death in the family and dealing with issues related to that my blood pressure was higher than normal, 172/91. Not crazy high but high. They wouldn't clean my teeth. I guess the stress of cleaning my teeth would have caused a heart attack. Unbelievable. Never again Athens Family Dental, I'll find a dentist who will clean my teeth ... read more
