The staff was rude from the get go, acting as though every minor request was a complete inconvenience for them. I was there as part of a business conference, so I certainly understand if they were overwhelmed to a degree. HOWEVER, I went to check my bank statement more than 3 full weeks later, lo and behold, I was charged for the room, even though the company had put a card on file. We have stayed here a few times and they never disappoint. Great hotel and staff. And great location to downtown Asheville!
RecommendedThis is a great place to stay! Beautiful and clean and everyone seems very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance from all of the downtown areas. We definitely enjoyed our visit.
Super nice, super clean. Staff was great too. The fitness center was under construction, but they offered free admission to the YMCA immediately across the street. Convenient parking and a great location, too. Also really liked the iron and ironing board. Very high quality.
Really classy joint in the middle of Asheville. Close to absolutely everything in town. Staff was friendly, rooms were modern, and parking was ample. The rooms offer a beautiful view of Asheville and the surrounding mountains. Although its under renovations currently, I didn't feel inconvenienced and there was no extra noise in my room. Housekeeping was great, and the TV was bigger than usual. Bed felt super clean and comfortable. Hoping to stay here again on my next visit in town.
Renaissance Hotels never disappoint! The rooms come equipped with two beds that are ultra comfortable. The bathrooms are the perfect size, and were equipped with fresh towels and a shower that had more than enough room. The hotel itself is gigantic, and it had the coolest outdoor seating area! The staff is also super friendly and accommodating. Conveniently, this hotel is walking distance from all the cool spots in the city as well. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Asheville, NC!
RecommendedHad a great stay. Room clean. Staff wonderful. Easy access to downtown. Loved sitting in lobby by fireplace and reading. Writer’s Bistro staff exceptional- especially Michael and Cynthia along with a sweet hostess (didn’t get her name). Would gladly stay again without hesitation. LD (Romans 1:16)
Awesome stay! Would go back again. The rooms are modern and clean. The only complaint are the hard pillows! Close to everything downtown! We had a great time!
