Great rooms, staff, fitness center, pool, and breakfast. Nice vibe. Within walking distance of all that downtown Asheville has to offer.
The hotel staff very pleasant. From the front desk, bar employees, and the wait staff during the conference. Check- in was frustrating. Large conference of 350 or more.. might need to have a plan B. Traveling over 4hrs plus sitting in meetings. Afterwards you're ready to relax. When your room not ready at 4 pm and you did the mobile app check in. It's very frustrating
A huge thanks to the Renaissance Hotel Asheville for making my honeymoon special. I was blown away by the staff noticing it was our honeymoon and going out of their way to make our stay special. I will most certainly stay here again.
Beautiful view of the area, wonderful and helpful staff. I attended a conference with breakfast and lunch provided by Renaissance, and everything was excellent, with the exception of long lines at the bathrooms, but that happens at conferences.....
Nice place, but overall experience ruined by waiting sometimes up to 5-10 minutes for elevators. Often trying to leave room and go to lobby, elevator would open, but be so full we couldn't get on. No seemed to be in a hurry to fix the broken one. Also parking is a big problem.
