The front desk staff are a delight. Luke has a calming presence and he is extremely friendly and accommodating
Nice place, but the elevators are pretty awful. They often stop at multiple floors with no waiting occupants. Also, a few times during my stay, the button would not work. If you don't mind waiting 5 to 10 minutes of time waiting for the elevator during peak times, no problem. Otherwise, nice place with friendly, helpful staff.
Great hotel, great location and great staff! I had an issue with the entry, bathroom, closet situation. It was very tight and awkward, if someone was in the closet you couldn’t get out or in the bathroom and leaving a door open blocked the entire entry. House keeping forgot to empty our trash and did not replenish the coffee supplies. All pretty minor things, we would stay there again.

Amazing service and rooms. The location is perfect. Near downtown. Loads of restaurants and shopping.
One of my favorite stops in a long time. The location is walking distance to everything, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. Parking is free and easy. There's a heated indoor pool which was well-maintained, great to take a dip on a cold day. The staff was welcoming and greeted us with a smile. Rooms were clean and modern. I can't see myself staying anywhere else in Asheville.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Renaissance Asheville. The location was perfect - right downtown and walking distance to so many wonderful restaurants and bars that Asheville has to offer. Our room was very spacious, modern, and clean. The beds were very cozy. The lobby and main areas were also cozy, clean, and decorated really cute for the holidays. The staff was helpful and kind. I had called the hotel two days before to ask for a rollaway bed and was told no problem. Have special Needs son and wanted he and sister to have separate beds, which is also listed on the website as being available! Was told AT check-in we could not have rollaway due to two queen size bed room. If that is their policy then I should have been told when I called. Check-in desk was not sympathetic or seemed to care.
