If you are looking for proximity to great food and drinks, this is the place to stay! We recently stayed at the Renaissance Hotel for a long weekend. The hotel is in a great location in downtown! The hotel itself had a gym and an indoor pool, as well as a covered outdoor space to relax and enjoy a drink in the evening. Would totally stay here again!!
Blown away by this hotel! The rooms were modern but had classic charm. The bed was dreamy and the towels were not typical hotel towels, they were fluffy towels like at home! The toiletries were Aveda (what a nice treat) and we appreciated the "green" efforts of the hotel offering recycling options in room. The staff was very helpful. We hope to stay here again and spend more time.
Great location, great service, nicely furnished, lots of USB ports for devices, and the beds are so comfortable!
I am a lifetime platinum with Marriott. I was not welcomed as such And I have stayed at way better Renaissance in 18 years with Marriott. The location, however is great. The hotel needs a second or third refresh.
The rooms were clean, contemporary, and had great bedding. The parking was ample and the staff was pleasant enough. They had a full service gym and indoor swimming pool which is cool. It's perfectly located to walk to all of the downtown attractions. The two issues I personally came across was the only one of the four elevators was working and I was on the 11th floor. Somewhat disappointed with condition of furniture in our room -scratched up pretty bad and buckling because of wet spots. This might not be a big deal to others, but is for me - cheap one-ply toilet tissue. The placement of toilet tissue holder uncomfortable because you have to reach behind you (as female). Bathroom very small. Quality of food, not so great. I expected quality at this level hotel to be more than just hash brown potatoes from package.
