Everything was great. Great view, great accommodation. Elevators need work, slow.
The Renaissance Asheville Hotel was a beautifully decorated, clean, welcoming hotel with a cheerful atmosphere. We wish we lived in it full-time. The room was big and quiet with a comfortable, huge bed. Bathroom was great. Breakfast was elaborate and delicious.
Great location, but this hotel has a rude staff, tries to over charges guests (higher rates than your reservation), no concierge lounge, a terrible, very limited restaurant menu, and has no idea how to properly treat Marriott's Platinum Elite guests. After experiencing each of these problems during my past two visits, without anyone at the hotel even attempting to make things right, I'll be finding a new Marriott property to stay at during my future trips to Asheville.
Had another great stay at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel. The staff was super friendly and check in/out was a breeze! Even with the bistro and bar located in the lobby, there are even more eateries within walking distance. I kept my refrigerated items cold in the mini fridge in my room, and warmed them in the microwave at the business center. There is also ample free parking. My room was spotless and my sleep was peaceful. Looking forward to my return visit to the Renaissance Asheville Hotel!
The Renaissance was nothing short of perfection. It looked as if it was built yesterday. I have a grand view of the city. My room was so neat and clean. I loved the new TV. The staff were very nice and accommodating. They made sure to handle my every need. The beds and pillows were simply a piece of heaven. The towels were so clean and white. It was such a joy to stay here. I wish I could have stayed longer. The Renaissance Asheville is definitely a 5 star property!
Good location, friendly staff, location is walkable to the downtown with all the great restaurants and shops, good beds and bedding and a lot of available parking. Would stay again.
I can't say enough great things about this hotel! You're right in the heart of downtown Asheville - just steps away from awesome bars and hotels. The staff was top notch and incredibly accommodating. My room was impeccably clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel was also great. I even ordered room service at one point, which I never usually do. If I ever come back down to Asheville, I will absolutely be staying at the Renaissance again!
