Great location to downtown restaurants & shops. Recently updated/remodeled with modern rooms. Very nice & reasonably priced. Free parking as well.
Love this place 2nd year in a row we stayed here for my birthday and just as great as the 1st time. Beautiful hotel and rooms. Writers Bistro for breakfast so yummy. Not to mention within walking distance of everything downtown. We will be back.

Great hotel - comfortable beds and great price! Stayed here through the winter storm with my wife and three kids! Windows could use an updating for better insulation - brrrrrr
An aging hotel, with overly-soft, springy beds, garish (read: blue-shifted neon lamp) room lighting, really mediocre food (being charitable here), occasionally patronizing service, intermittent internet (with frequent requests to re-login), and a semi-broken door handle to the room, makes my top 5 list for worst hotel stays in this year of 35+ weeks of travel. Two stars awarded for some true southern hospitality in this long-in-the-tooth facility.
