This hotel couldn't be anymore convenient! It was in walking distance of delicious food, great vintage shopping, and entertainment. Every morning we walked over to the Over Easy Cafe and would highly recommend it and this hotel. The Renaissance is a beautiful place and the room was extremely comfortable and spacious. The concierge was very helpful as well. We went mountain biking nearby and needed to wash our clothes ASAP. Just spent a few days in Asheville to celebrate my birthday. Overall great experience at Renaissance. I highly recommend to anyone.
Staff lets guests run wild. I'm a flight crewmember and have had no sleep because of a bunch of awful guests who were up all night slamming doors and pounding on walls. On my way to the elevator there are cigarette butts on the floor. I thought this was a Reniassance not a motel 6. No sleep means I can not keep people safe and do my job effectively. You and your staff should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing and condoning this type of behavior!
Our stay was awesome! Everyone was so friendly and the location was fabulous! Room was a little small, but comfortable. I accidentally left a monogrammed necklace in our room when we checked out today, and have called and reported it. Here's hoping I get it back!
I stayed here recently and it delivered yet again. Just such a great location, easily walkable to everything yet also at the edge of town, so you're not dodging stumbling drunks outside your hotel. Also very easy to get to, the rooms are really big and comfortable and the staff was v. helpful in recommending some new restaurants.
Ignite Hospitality Services works with clients from all over the United States. It's important that they are provided clean, hospitable hotels while they are working away from home. This is one of my three favorite Marriott's to stay at. The hotel is amazing, the rooms are beautiful and the city view is breath taking. Only thing I do not like (which has changed in the many years I have been staying here) they need to get food back in the bar area. For those of us who travel alone (which is a lot of their clientele) we do not like to go into the restaurant to have dinner. It is preferred to set at the bar for dinner and that is not an option.
